The Apollo XL Pro Flow-Through Filter by HEISSNER is a premium filtration system designed for particularly challenging pond projects. The system utilises a highly efficient 4-stage principle: a vortex settlement chamber first removes coarse debris through centrifugal force before the water passes through three specialised filter chambers. Thanks to high-quality slide valves on each chamber, accumulated sludge can be drained easily and in a controlled manner. The comprehensive professional filter media package creates the ideal habitat for Nitrosomonas bacteria, which are responsible for the natural breakdown of harmful substances in the pond water.
