Description
The Chlorine Stabiliser by CF. Group reduces chlorine loss on hot summer days by shielding sensitive chlorine from the sun's destructive UV radiation.
Standard unstabilised chlorine is rapidly degraded by sunlight and heat within a very short time—often before it can effectively eliminate germs. This chlorine stabilizer acts like a protective shield, temporarily binding the free chlorine and releasing it in a controlled manner precisely when it is needed for sanitation. As a result, the protective effect in your pool water remains stable for significantly longer, chlorine consumption drops noticeably, and the water stays hygienically clean even during extreme heatwaves.
Highlights:
- Effective Chlorine Protection: Prevents rapid chlorine depletion caused by intense sunlight and high water temperatures.
- Consistent Protection: Ensures stable sanitation levels and prevents protection gaps in the pool water.
- Reduces Chemical Costs: Minimizes the overall consumption of chlorine products throughout the swimming season.
Application:
- Adjust the pH level to sit between 7.0 and 7.6.
- Adjust the free chlorine level to sit between 1.0 and 3.0 mg/l.
- Slowly scatter the granules directly into the skimmer basket while the filtration system is running.
- The cyanuric acid (CYA) level should ideally be maintained between 35 and 50 mg/l.
Pro Tips:
- The powder dissolves slowly within the filter bed. Therefore, do not perform a backwash for at least 24 hours after application to prevent the product from being flushed into the waste line completely unused.
- Monitor the cyanuric acid level regularly with a suitable pool test kit or digital photometer to avoid over-stabilisation (chlorine lock).
Important Note:
Never broadcast this product directly into the swimming pool water, as this can cause stubborn cloudiness and turbidity.
