Description
The pH Minus Granules by CF. Group lower the pH level quickly and reliably into the optimal range. This makes it an indispensable baseline product, ensuring your chlorine, algaecides, and flocculants can achieve the best results.
An elevated pH level often occurs completely naturally due to the outgassing of fresh top-up water or following intensive chlorine usage. The consequences include burning eyes, limescale deposits on pool walls, and pool chemicals that lose their structural efficacy. This highly soluble granular formula gently corrects this imbalance, protecting your pool equipment and returning the water to its perfect equilibrium.
Highlights:
- Maximises Chemical Efficiency: Optimises the pH level so that all other pool chemicals can work with maximum efficiency.
- Excellent Equipment Protection: When dosed correctly, it actively prevents calcium-induced turbidity and rough limescale deposits in the pool basin.
- Excellent Solubility: The fine granules dissolve completely without clumping and distribute rapidly throughout the pool.
Application:
- It is best to apply the treatment in multiple stages, waiting 4 hours between each application. Test the pH level between doses.
- The ideal pH level should be maintained between 7.0 and 7.6.
- Completely dissolve the granules inside a bucket of water.
- With the filtration system running, slowly pour the solution into the pool along the edge—always avoid pouring near any metal fixtures or fittings!
- An application of 150 g of pH minus granules lowers the pH level of 10 m³ of pool water by approximately 0.2.
Pro Tip:
Hard water (high in limescale) possesses a higher buffering capacity and will consequently require a larger volume of pH corrector, whereas soft water will require less.
Important Note:
When preparing the solution in a bucket, always add the water first, then carefully stir in the granules. Never add water to dry chemicals, to prevent dangerous splashing.
