Steinbach Pool Professional Chlorine Granules - Premium, 5 kg

This water care product is suitable for disinfection and prevention of algae growth in private swimming pools. These fast-dissolving chlorine granules can be used for an initial dosage and shock treatment.

The Premium chlorine granulates are fast-dissolving and their special granulation causes less dust. They are effective against fungi, viruses and organic residue, are pH-neutral, and can be used in all water hardnesses. They dissolve without leaving residue and are suitable for an initial dosage and shock treatment.

Dosage:
Before adding Chlorine Granules - Premium, the pH of the water must be adjusted to the optimum range of 7.0 to 7.4. The optimum chlorine value is 0.3 to 0.6 mg/l for long-term chlorination and a maximum of 3 mg/l for shock chlorination.

For an initial dosage, 100 g (approx. 100 ml) per 10 m³ of pool water should be used, followed by weekly additions of 50 g (approx. 50 ml) per 10 m³. The chlorine granules should ideally be added to the pool through the skimmer after being dissolved in water. In the case of cloudy water after frequent use, thundershowers, or high temperatures, 200 g (approx. 200 ml) per 10 m³ can be added.

If you notice slippery coatings or algae growth (green traces), it is recommended to add an algaecide, following the dosage recommendation.

Please note that this product should only be used according to the product description. The effect starts immediately after use. The dosage specifications reflect experience and are not binding. If the product is used for shock chlorination or to increase the chlorine level to more than 3 mg / l, no bathing should take place.
