Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) - DREAME Z1 Series Robotic Pool Cleaners

🤖 MODEL COMPARISON & SELECTION GUIDE

Which is the best model for my pool: the DREAME Z1 or the DREAME Z1 Pro?

The choice of model depends primarily on the size of your pool and your preferred level of interaction:

DREAME Z1: Ideal for medium-sized pools (up to 180 m²). The perfect "set-and-forget" solution for anyone looking for a reliable, app-controlled device that handles pool maintenance fully automatically and autonomously.

DREAME Z1 Pro: Recommended for larger pools (up to 200 m²). Ideal for maximum control, targeted spot-cleaning, and interactive operation via the exclusive LiFi underwater remote control.

🫧 CLEANING PERFORMANCE & FEATURES

Which areas of the pool are cleaned?

Both the Z1 and the Z1 Pro clean the entire pool: the pool floor, walls, and the waterline. Specific cleaning modes can be selected via the DREAMEhome app to target just the floor or only the walls, for example.

How do the pool robots navigate - do they clean the pool randomly?

Thanks to intelligent PoolSense™ Navigation, the devices utilise sensor-based mapping. The precise layout of the pool is captured using ultrasound and infrared. The system reliably detects obstacles, such as steps or drains, and calculates the most efficient cleaning path in real time to ensure comprehensive cleanliness without missing a spot.

What kind of debris can the DREAME robotic pool cleaners suction up?

Equipped with a powerful suction capacity of 30 m³/h and dual scrubbing brushes, they can effortlessly remove leaves, insects, sand, and algae. The integrated filter traps fine particles down to a size of 180 µm.

🔋 BATTERY, CHARGING & HANDLING

How do you charge the battery, and how long is the runtime?

Enjoy up to 3 to 4 hours of uninterrupted, cordless cleaning performance on a single charge. Recharging the battery takes just 4 to 6 hours via a convenient magnetic cable. This eliminates the need for a bulky, space-consuming outdoor charging station.

How does the device exit the water after cleaning?

Once the cleaning cycle is complete or the battery level drops below 10%, the device automatically parks itself at the pool's edge. It can then simply be lifted out by its handle or using the supplied hook. Additionally, the Z1 Pro can be recalled to the surface at any time using the remote control.

📱 APP & SMART CONTROL

Can the device be controlled via the app while it is underwater?

Because Wi-Fi and Bluetooth signals cannot penetrate water, the cleaning mode is set in the DREAMEhome app before deployment. Once cleaning is finished, the app resynchronises and displays the cleaning reports.

What is the advantage of the Z1 Pro's remote control?

The remote control for the Z1 Pro uses LiFi technology (light-based communication), which works perfectly underwater. This allows you to steer the robot directly to dirty spots in real time or command it to surface at the touch of a button.
