Description
The non-foaming Algaecide Alba Super K by CF. Group prevents algae growth to ensure your pool water remains perfectly clean and clear.
Since algae form the primary food source and ideal breeding ground for bacteria, this liquid shield provides long-lasting, hygienically flawless water quality. The specially developed, non-foaming formula remains stable even during intense water movement. This makes the treatment ideal for pools with counter-current systems or jet nozzles, protects the filtration equipment, and is proven to save money on expensive sanitizers by blocking initial organic growth.
Highlights:
- Completely Non-Foaming: Prevents frustrating foam build-up on the surface—ideal for active pools, water features, and jet systems.
- Broad-Spectrum Algaecide: Acts both as a preventative measure and as a direct treatment for acute algae blooms.
- Cost-Effective: Inhibits algae formation early on, drastically reducing overall chlorine consumption for sanitation.
Application:
- Adjust the pH level to sit between 7.0 and 7.6.
- Always pour the product slowly into the water along the edge of the pool.
- Initial Dose (Season Start): Use 150 – 200 ml per 10 m³ of pool water.
- Weekly Maintenance Dose: Use 100 – 150 ml per 10 m³ of pool water. It is best to apply the treatment in the evening after swimming has finished. Heavy pool use, high temperatures, and rainfall may require a higher dosage.
- Shock Treatment (Acute Algae): Use 300 – 400 ml per 10 m³ of pool water. Run the filtration system continuously for at least 24 hours, then perform a thorough backwash.
Pro Tip:
Before the swimming season begins, spray or brush the cleaned, empty pool basin (especially corners, joints, and grouting) with a 20% algaecide solution and allow it to dry completely. This creates a defensive barrier, making it much harder for algae spores to take hold.
Important Note:
This product is exclusively approved for use in private swimming pools and must never be used in fish ponds, natural bodies of water, or eco-pools.
